Growth Job Role Roles

Growth job role roles are a convenient career planning tool for learners and supervisors to assess a learner's qualifications for particular job role roles and address any knowledge gaps the learner may have.

Supervisors can assign and view the status of growth job role roles in the Management Center.  Assigned growth job role roles are also visible to learners in the Learning Center, however, learners do not have the ability to remove growth job role roles assigned in the Management Center.

Learners also have the option of selecting their own growth job role roles in the Learning Center, and will also have the ability to view and remove any growth job role roles they personally select.

To designate a Job Role as available for selection by learners in the Learning Center:

  1. In the left menu, click on Job Roles.
  2. Open the Job Role.
  3. Enable the option Viewable In Course Catalog.
  4. Click Save.

To assign a growth job role to a learner:

  1. In the left menu, click on Learners.
  2. Open the record for a specific learner.
  3. In the View menu, select Growth Job Role Roles.
  4. Use the New button to add a growth job role.
  5. Select a job role in the lookup window.

To view a learner's qualifications for a job role:

  1. In the left menu, click on Learners.
  2. Open the record for a specific learner.
  3. In the View menu, select Growth Job Role Roles.
  4. Click on the Details icon for the growth job role.
