Security Policies are sets of permissions that are applied to individual records designed to control the actions users in a security tier may perform upon a record.
Security policies set as defaults will be applied to new records.
Multiple security policies may be applied to a single record.
Only users with an administrative role in the database tier can modify security tiers.
Note Access to enterprise security functionality utilizing Tiers and Policies must be enabled by a system administrator.
